Following our recent presence at IFE Manufacturing 2026, ATURA Proteins reflects on a successful and productive event that continues to strengthen our position within the UK food and beverage sector.
As part of the wider International Food & Drink Event London, the exhibition once again proved to be a valuable platform for connecting with industry leaders, showcasing innovation, and driving meaningful conversations around the future of protein.
A Strong Industry Presence
This year’s event brought together a high concentration of professionals across the UK manufacturing landscape. The balance of new connections and returning conversations reinforced both the growing interest in pulse-based proteins and the strength of our ongoing relationships.
Engagement across the show highlighted a clear and consistent trend: the demand for high-quality, functional protein solutions continues to accelerate, particularly as brands look to enhance nutritional profiles while maintaining product quality.
Showcasing Application-Led Innovation
A key highlight of the event was the opportunity to bring our ingredients to life through application. Our featured concepts-Protein Coffee, GLP-1 friendly protein snacks, and a vegan cream cheese alternative-demonstrated the versatility and functionality of our pulse protein range across multiple categories.
The inclusion of our protein shake concept within the Ingredients Table created additional visibility, allowing us to engage directly with a wide audience and gather immediate feedback. This hands-on interaction plays an important role in connecting ingredient capability with real-world product development.

Conversations That Matter
Across the event, discussions consistently centred on practical product development challenges and opportunities. Alongside protein fortification, two clear macro trends stood out: the rise of GLP-1 influenced product development and increasing demand for high-fibre formulations.
Key themes included:
- Increasing protein content across a wide range of food and beverage formats
- Supporting reformulation driven by evolving nutritional priorities, including GLP-1 aligned products focused on satiety and portion control
- Growing interest in high-fibre solutions, particularly where fibre and protein can be combined to enhance nutritional density
- Expanding plant-based offerings across dairy alternatives, snacking, and prepared foods
- Delivering functional performance without compromising taste or texture
These conversations reinforced the role of pulse proteins as a flexible and scalable solution for modern product innovation, particularly as brands respond to shifting consumer health trends.
Looking Ahead
IFE Manufacturing continues to be a key event for ATURA Proteins, supporting both brand visibility and long-term business development in the UK. Each year builds on the last, strengthening connections and deepening insight into the needs of the industry.
Looking ahead, ATURA Proteins will also be exhibiting at Vitafoods Europe 2026, where we will continue to showcase our latest innovations and connect with partners across the global nutrition and functional ingredients space.
We look forward to progressing these conversations and continuing to support innovation in protein across the food and beverage sector
